Mr. Asif is a passionate fighter for the rights of employees all across the State of Texas. He has experience representing clients in a variety of different settings, including state agencies, federal agencies and state/federal courts.
Mr. Asif has worked on a variety of discrimination cases fighting for the rights of clients under the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and many others. He has worked on matters of wrongful termination, retaliation and unpaid wage claims.
In 2022, Mr. Asif graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. During law school, he was an advocate for society’s most vulnerable, researching matters of access to counsel and civil rights.
He was a Technical Editor for the Texas Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties and a Staff Editor for the American Journal of Criminal Law. In addition, Mr. Asif worked for the Actual Innocence Clinic, in which he helped to exonerate wrongfully convicted individuals.
Prior law school, Mr. Asif attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he received a Bachelor of Commerce. During the course of his education, he participated in various community initiatives and charity drives. As the Head of Marketing for the Queen’s South Asian Association, he spread awareness and promoting cultural understanding for various minority communities.
Mr. Asif is licensed to practice law in Texas and may represent clients in any Texas court.
