Lawyers for Employees

Rob Wiley: So, Colin, as an employment lawyer do you represent employees, employers or both?

Colin Walsh: I represent employees. And, I think it's really important to find an employment lawyer who does represent employees because that person's going to be on your side. That person's going to be looking out for the employee's rights and helping that employee find remedies. I'm not looking to help a company do anything. I'm looking to help an employee have the best working relationship or have the best rights and remedies available to him or her.

Rob Wiley: And, I think that that's an important concept to keep in mind because, you know, lawyers make arguments, and you don't wanna be showing up in court in the morning arguing that an employer can do all these things and then show up in the afternoon arguing that all that kinds of stuff ought to be illegal.
